Looking for other Members of 540th E Company

Hi, I am looking for information about my Grandpa, Maurice (Moe) Wernart. He was in E Company in the 540th. I believe E company was reorganized into the 2833 Battalion. I would love to hear any stories or any info about this group. I thank all of you for your service.

Sorry I had to give you the unfortunate news regarding the passing of Cliff Duncan. You would have really liked him; full of the devil and funny as hell.
There is a complete video interview with him on his Memoir page on the main site. I'm sure you would enjoy it and learn a lot at the same time.
There are also other memoir pages regarding individual 540th members and a History page. As above, these can all be found on the main site.
I will also add you to my 540th email list and send a message of introduction to the gang.
