Here's the letter from John...
There are a number of fellows on our roster whom I have never met but I regret taking any name off the books. Today though I learned that we lost one who was familiar to all of us, Irving Cherney, Master Sergeant Hq Co who ran the 36th reunion for quite a while and did it well. May he rest in peace.
