Thank you for the invite...I have been researching my grandfathers WWII history for three years now and found out a lot. His name is Walter J Read served in the "Red Bull" 34th Infantry 135th division Company i. from Nov 43 to Dec 45. Received a purple heart on June 1 44 in Lanuvio "Blood Gulch". He did recently pass last year, but I was able to Honor him into the WWII Memorial before his passing. He was very proud of it. I'm always looking for more info. and pictures if anyone knew him or of him. Thank you again for the invite and see you online..Thomas Read

Welcome to the forum. I will hook you up with Rocky Riojas who also served with the 135th, so I'm sure he will be able to give your more information, I will alert him about your posts.
