| proud as punch when he saw me board the bus to go to
| Ft. Leavenworth,Ks. from K.C. Mom had a tear in her
| eye or maybe it was dust. Mexican people are very
| proud and dad said ,son, makes us proud. Did'nt see
| them for 3 yrs. Have a bro. Henry Riojas that was in
| the battle of the bulge. Another brother, Joshua Riojas
| in Korea and a grandson in Desert Storm. I don't
| remember seeing any USO shows, There were tents
| set up in the REAR so when we were pulled off the line
| we went back there got a shower and clean clothes.
| Neverheard of the Montecatinni Rest Area. I guess
| cause we up in the mountains. Just read the history of
| the 34th in Italy, under Divisions. Roque
