Wtson All I remember seeing was Venice and I remember going by Rome on the hiway that went by the colloseum. According to the book by Homer Ankrum,"Dogfaces WhO
SMILED THROUGH TEARS", page 534. The 135th Regt. HQ set up the Cp at the Majestic Hotel at 2:30pm June 5. Parts of the 133rd and 135th went into Rome. BUT Watson maybe I'm wrong. But I do know I saw Rome from a distance. |
