The annual Battle of the Bulge Re-enactment was held at Ft. Indiantown Gap, PA January 23-29, 2006 by The Federation. About 15 veterans attemded, the smallest number in the past 10 years I have attended. We were quartered in the original WW-II barracks. Present were George Watson, M-346: Charles Nelson M-346; and John McAuliffe; M-347. The weather was mild this year with no snow as compared to previous years. An attraction this year was the presence of the son of Oberstgruppenfuhuer Sepp Dietrich, of the Sixth Panzer Army. He was dressed in the black and silver braid uniform of an Officer. He attended the afternoon luncheon reception with his wife. I asked him if his father, really believed the German Ardennes Offensive would be successful. He answered, emphatically, "Oh, yes".......
