Joe, Glad to hear you are up to posting again and look forward to your input. I am a Tommy gun fan, myself. If your objective is to put a man down (pretty much the raison d'être for the infantry) there's nothing better than 600-700 RPM of .45 ACP ammo. Did you have a 1928A1 or an M1/M1A1? I imagine if it was later in the war it would have been an M1A1.
