Help on stamp on a duffle bag
#1

Hello everyone,

a month ago, I bought a duffle bag in a flea market. There are two stamps, W. BOUCSEIN and, even if it is not correspond with surname, S 5739.

The bag is almost certainly from a cellar in the operational area of the 85th Infantry Division. On Nara AAD, I have not found any Boucsein, maybe you can help me know more...

So far I've found a Carl B and a Victor, but no one with the initial W, but I've only been trying for about 5 minutes. Back to the search....

This one is a tough one, no luck on Ancestry.com, nor at NARA, etc. The web searches also bring up nothing. I guess they can't all come to fruitful ends...

Sorry!

No problem, I knew that it was a search almost impossible!

Thanks anyway for your time.

That is not to say that someone else will spot this post. As you know, it happens from time to time. Someone may be searching for the name and find your post. We will think positive!
