This weekend in a village near Arras .

By chance I discovered this monument dedicate to the innumerable animals

who suffered and perished in the last wars .

Awww, that is just beautiful. I have never seen anything like that until today. Just think of the thousands of animals that were injured, or killed. It saddens one's heart. :armata_PDT_23:

That's really nice that someone stopped to think about the loss of ALL God's creatures in addition to the terrible loss of human life in war. I read somewhere a figure that was just for horses killed while in use by the German army and it's in the hundred thousands. I know there is a cemetery in Hawaii for War Dogs too. Nice tribute, anyway.

The name of the village is "COUIN" 40min of Arras follow the N25 to Arras , Achicourt , Dainville , Beaumetz - Les Loges , Pas En artois ,Couin
