Horace Norman Morton 163rd combat engineer WW2

My grandfather, Red Morton, was in this group during World War Two. I have been to 163rd.com but I am looking for more detailed info. I know it's a long shot, but I'd love to meet someone who knew him as he refused to talk about the war. I am taking a trip to Europe this summer and would love to visit some of the places he went.
