Memories of Marilyn M Noren - England
#2

A great and imformative story from Marilyn. At that time I was aged 3 and where she lived to the north west of London I lived to the south east.

How I remember the 'treasure hunt' for shrapnel and watching Spitfires and Hurricanes etc criss-crossing the sky.

But I must also remember that only 21 miles or so from where I lived, men were dying in Northern France and throughout the world. The child's view has turned into that of an old man!

Colin.
