I know Moose will love this for sure, as will others. I fell in love with it (great words), and in fact placed it on my buddy's website, last night.

That. . . was funny!! 
 
You could tell what seemed to rub them the wrong more than anything else, "The pay is exactly the same!" That was a travesty that those guys didn't get jump pay. I bet you statistically you were safer with a parachute than coming in inside a glider. I heard somewhere that a coffin maker in the US was making those; not something to inspire troops. The fact that the concept of glider borne infantry didn't last long seems to give credence to the fact it was the best idea. I wouldn't have been found DEAD OR ALIVE in one of those babies. Watching footage of those gliders, their pilots and their crew, scares the bejeezus out of me!
