  7th Army uniform
Posted by: ANDRE'S SON - 10-19-2006, 03:32 PM - Forum: VI CORPS AND 5TH & 7TH ARMIES - Replies (12)

Okay there group. I have a 7th Army uniform (Complete Class A) The rank is Corporal. Here is my question. When would someone, especially the rank of a corporal wear the 7th Army patch? Would this person be attahced to a HQ part or what? I'm not sure how all this works. Also, with someone with this patch, what would be the unit crest worn on the class A? I would like to complete this uniform for a nice display piece.

Thanks!

  I Need a Photo
Posted by: crsjnsn - 10-19-2006, 01:32 AM - Forum: Reenactors Corner - Replies (26)

I am slowly but surely putting together a history of my grandfather's military service. I am doing a section on what his uniform and equipment would have most likely consisted of. One thing I lack is a good photo of a late war (March '45) uniform actually on a person (or mannequin.) I have asked on some of the reenactor sites, but to no avail.

Anybody have a good photo that I can use? I would give full credit to the contributer.

Let me know if you can help.

Sometimes you don't find out about things on time, but regardless, it is always our policy to publish notices and to send our condolences to the family and friends of each veteran. It is also our way to honor their memories. -_-

I received this from Al Kincer. Thank you for supplying me with this info.

Marion, another great combat engineer has passed away. Frank Bonanno of Company B, 48th Combat Engineers and Winchester MA, died on 17 January 2004.

  More Pearl Harbor Photos

Note: As stated further down in this post, these are old, real photos from Pearl Harbor, but they weren't discovered in an old brownie camera, etc. A lot of bunk is going around the internet about these particular photos.
