Hello all,
Just been digging into my personal library and found following publications;

They were in the Wiltz area (Luxembourg) during the Battle of the Bulge.

Very thorough study of this unit's action from December 1944 to January 1945.
If anyone has other publications, feel free to add them.

I guess I told you before that the only drawback to keeping the roster is that from time to time I have to delete a name. Ivor Lake's mail came back undeliverable today and there might be one or two more when the mail gets sorted. I never knew Ivor and he never wrote to me but he certainly must have enjoyed getting information on the Regiment and I will sadly drop his name. May he rest in peace.

I have been attempting to research my father's unit in WW II and came across this most excellent site. I am most impressed with the quanity and quality of the information here.
I am looking for any information on the 2731 Engineer Light Equipment Company. I believe it was activated in July 1944. It was deployed to France in January 1945 and attached to the 7th Army.
Any information or leads to sources will be most appreciated.
Thank you,
Sam Caldwell
