The meeting with the family of one of my godson in Normandy.

Maybe you remember that I adopted several graves at the Normandy cemetery and october 8.I had the big happiness of meet the family of one my adopted godsons Marvin A Wamhoff , It was one of the most beautiful moment of my life .We have a lot speak and a lot to cry also!!

We had difficulty has to separate us.

We meant to see again each other soon. They have me to invite in the michigan. I hope I can go there one day!! Marvin A Wamhoff was only 21 years old when he was killed in Normandy When his jeep that he drives jumped on a shell .

I attached pictures of our meeting and my godson Marvin.

Thought I'd place this link to WORLD TIME. Thought it would be practical for our chats around the world.

Poll - R U gonna join and participate?

I'd like to know if this is going to be a "GO". Are you planning on becoming a member of our Chat Room? I'd like to get an idea of who will be participating in the near future.

I'd like to hear from more than two people. Please and thanks!

Hi; My name is chuck Gray Coming back for the second time. I origionally registered shortly after my good buddy and best friend PAPA ART in 04.( Not 19 but 20) I'm Back again and hope to stay. Like Papa Art, I too enlisted in the Army Air Corps. And like like him was diverted when the course of the war changed for the better and the urgent need for air crews was no longer a priority. I went off for radio & then radar training. then the war in Europe ended, so off to Signal Corps for shipboard radar training. Upon completion , we were again loaned out to the Transportation Corps, and ended up as 3 man radar crews on Army transports carrying supplies to Europe and bringing back GI's for discharge back into civilian life. We really raised eyebrows with the Merchant crewmen , seeing Air Corps patches, as part of the ships compliment.

Nice to be back on board

see you around
