REGISTRATION PROCESS

Recommended Posts

Reminder!

Registration is a four-step process!

1. You must apply for membership.

2. After you register, you will receive an email asking your reasons for membership. This is to help weed out hackers, advertisers and spammers. Your Reply will be sent to me.

3. If we do not hear from you within 10 days, your registration in automatically deleted from the queue.

4. If your request is personally approved by me, then you will receive an email stating your approval.

Thanks,
Marion

NOTE: Step 2 may take anywhere from a few hours to a day or more, depending upon my work load at home-office. IF you do not receive a personal from me, then make sure I am not on your BLOCKED email list. Make sure www.6thcorpscombatengineers.com is on your "approved senders" list.

Sorry we DO NOT have guest accounts.

P.S. It is not recommended to use your email address as your login on a forum, for it will display that email address anytime you post. Makes it too easy for hackers and other unscrupulous people to gather your information.

Just so people are aware. This is the letter you will receive from me, after you've registered. If you do not reply to this letter within 10 days, your registration will transpire. Thanks!

Dear Registrant:

Thanks for registering but due to a very high rate of spammers trying to infiltrate private forums, we are sending an email to every new registrant of our VI Corps Combat Engineers Forum, to ascertain their real intent.

We are requesting a reply to this email, asking each person to provide a brief paragraph telling us why you desire to become a member of this forum, and what is your connection to the WWII community.

If we do not hear from you within 10 days, or determine from your email that you do not have a real interest in a WWII forum, then this account will not be accepted for inclusion.

We thank you for your patience during this process. We do this to make sure that our forum remains a safe place to communicate for all those with an avid interest in World War II. We look forward to hearing from you and apologize for this inconvenience.

Regards...
