Tried the email address, but it's no longer valid. Sigh!

When I can login to my Ancestry.com account, I will try from the site itself. I am locked out right now, for I couldn't remember my login. Waiting to get an email with my sign-in info...

Here's a page from Michael Brodhead from the Army Corps of Engineers Office of History. Thanks Michael!

This document talks about some of their accomplishments in the Pacific, namely bridge building and deconstruction.

Talks about their activation at Camp Gruber on April 20th,1944. They landed in France at Le Havre on April 12th, 1945.

The document is light, so may be a bit difficult to read.

Received another letter this week, from the daughter of a 1275th'er. They are looking for any living members...

Is there any way to know if any of those guys are still around? My dad thinks he is the only one left of his high school & college buddies. He may be right but I thought if there was someone who still had a mind as sharp as his, it’d be FUN to connect them!

My dad lives in Kerrville, TX which is kind of close to the center of Texas.
