Pinewood Derby
#1

For those of you who don't know, pinewood derby cars are cars about 2 1/2 by 5 1/2 inches that are run down a 32 foot track. They are normally associated with cub scouting which is where I have done them for the last two years. I just wanted to share the two I made this year.

This one is a Hardback HMMWV with a 1/35th scale M2 .50 cal.

This one is a BRDM (a Russian scout vehicle)

Here's a real one to compare it to

Just thought I'd share!

That put a smile on my face this morning, and that was probably tough to do, seeing I am some sort of flu bug. ha-ha!

Loved those. Leave it to you to do this. These really rock and I bet they will get a bit of attention.
