I agree with your sentiments. Yes, the photos are just awesome. Some of the best. But even after all these years, it's still so sad to look at them. It does transport one back in time, like it just happened yesterday.

 

I always say, thank God for photos, because they bring us back to reality and make us realize what could and what DID happen. May we NEVER forget. :(

Infamous japanese attack on the US Naval Base at Pearl Harbor In Hawaii was one of the most significant events of World War II
