I came across your website this weekend after searching for information on the 207th Engineer Combat Battalion. You see I was helping to clean up some storage at my mother-in-law's home, and we came across the attached map in the attic from her husband who passed away quite a few years ago. I see that you already have a brief written history, and this seems like an appropriate companion. I scanned the map as a PDF, but it was way too large to email in that format, so I converted to the attached jpg. Perhaps there's a way to compress it as a PDF, but I am not familiar with it.

If someone has a copy of the 207th's website, I'm happy to toss it onto my webserver for others to enjoy.

Not sure how we would go about doing that. You would have to try in get in touch with the family, etc. But that would be a great idea. Maybe someone will see your offer here.

BTW, I am doing that for a veteran who passed away years ago. I created a website for him and promised that I would keep it up and running after he passed. I am pleased to say it's still going as a tribute to a great guy and his WWII unit.

Yes, that was my thought since your site is quite popular! I did look at it on archive.org but a lot of images and misc items were missing or I could have just copied it from there.
