I also didn't give my Grandfather's Name. It is listed two ways. L. Randolph Crosby and Lloyd R. Crosby. 160th Infantry, 424th Division Company B. Any information or photos welcome. We have nothing but one photo.

He was in Company B and I am having trouble finding photos from Comapny B. Have you read the 106th Yearbook? Is it helpful if so?

I am so baffled by the lack of pictures of much of the 424th and none of Company B. Is this indicitive of something more than the decimation of that unit? (My military terms are probably all mixed up. ) And recommendations on individuals to contact? I PM'd Carl 1944.

Glad to see you PM'd Carl. That's a good start. Just as a reminder to all, because this topic has grown so much, Carl has a website dedicated to the 106th, which can be found here:

Also pleased to see you are using your grandfather's pic as your own. You do him a great honor.

It is sometimes difficult to find pics of many of the WWII units, so in and of itself, it's not that unusual. But, you haven't seen the 106th booklet yet, is that correct? I'm sure that would be a good place to start.

Have you see this on Amazon.com?
