Only too happy to help out. I have also assisted others from your "neck of the woods" (area).

Realisation of the Ssgt Roy L. Booher monument

It's now possible to donate some money for helping us realising a monument for Ssgt Roy L. Booher. He died during the liberation of the community of Noorbeek.

It's our intention to errect the monument at 6 September 2009 during the 65th commemoration of the Liberation of Noorbeek, which took place on 12 September 1944. By clicking on the button below, you can donate for the realisation of this monument:

Here is my version. Feel free to use it, if you wish: :armata_PDT_01:

The dedication of a monument to SSgt Roy L. Booher

Thank you Marion. I will send it through to the others. The only thing I should change now is that he is not the first American trooper to be killed in Holland, but the first American trooper to be killed in Holland during thee liberation. Before him there were airmen killed in the battle.

Thank you,

Frank

GREAT. Sorry about the confusion, but I took the quote directly from an earlier post. Glad I could help out.
