Now and Then - Frank Gubbels - 06-16-2008

Because of absence I can show you only now our new Now and Then website about the Liberation of my hometown Noorbeek.

We were liberated by the 30th Old Hickory Division. The 119th Regiment was the first regiment in our village.

Regards,

Frank

I love the before and afters. When you see the color photographs, then you get an idea of what the vets themselves saw. Good job Frank. Thanks for the site. :drinkin:

Very well done! :armata_PDT_37:

Amazing how some parts almost never change, even after 60+ years.

Here in the Ardennes, you see the same.

Sometimes you can almost see that Sherman or jeep passing by as the surroundings didn't change after all that time.
