The Italian Campaign & animated map - Walt's Daughter - 03-28-2005
I placed this in the What's New section but am placing it here too because I want to add some info. If you go to this site The Italian Campaign, they also have a great animated map (Flash file).
I sure would like to have maps like this on my site eventually for the engineers. I have the technology, but it takes some playing around. Ah, that's something for the future!

The last "slide" covers 11 months and the advance from Rome up to the Alps in approximately 119 words.
Oh the injustice of it!!
