Lookin' good!!!

Marion, can I ask you a question?

Just how do you pronounce Poniedzialek???

Brooke

Rocky and I - Walt's Daughter - 11-21-2006

Fuuny you're the second person to ask today! :D

The real Polish pronunciation is

Pone-yee-jowick

The English pronunciation is

Pon-a-za-lik

Our name means Monday. Can you imagine learning the other days of the week? I learned how to spell my name when I was four. It was a doozy.

My dad's brother Joe legally changed his name to Monday. A heck of a lot easier I must admit, but I'm glad dad didn't change ours. I like having the heritage that is associated with it.

Marion, I recv'd my Anzio Beachhead news letter today. I saw OUR names listed. I guess I'll be thinking about the reunion at D.C. next April. Maybe. Rocky

I recieved several letters from vets this week, congratulating me on my membership. It was fun getting those email. Made me feel proud.

Let's hope the Lord keeps you in his blessing, and who knows, you may be able to attend that reunion too. Sounds like a lot of fun. :pdt34:
