Camp Kit - 3_7_I_Recon - 09-03-2006 Hello everyone, I picked this little item up at a yard sale yesterday. The owner was a lady who said it belonged to her EX-husband who was about 60 years of age. She believed it to be Army, but didn't know for sure.
It was in a box full of junk, I looked for the eating utensils, but didn't find them. It has a very frayed tag that says "Camp Kit USA" and little pockets inside.
Anyone ever seen one of these?? Camp Kit - chambers - 09-03-2006 On the bottom there is a very faint H 43?? Camp Kit - chambers - 09-03-2006 Here is a shot of the inside: Camp Kit - chambers - 09-03-2006 Here's a blurry shot of the tag. Looks like garage sales were good to both of us this past week! Camp Kit - Dogdaddy - 09-03-2006
One of my favorite Summer activities, even if the pickings are often slim! It's really the only way us "ordinary folk" stand a chance of finding this stuff at a fair price.
Jim DD Camp Kit - chambers - 09-03-2006 Yep, this was definately a good bargain at the price of 50 cents.
