In von Below´s memoirs in late July 1941 Hitler was very sick for some time and Dr Morell said to von Below that Hitler had suffered probably a minor heart attack (!).

Erich Kempka says in his book that while burning Hitler´s and Eva Braun´s bodies they waited that the fire had gone out and threw more gasoline over the bodies and set them on fire again several times between 2 pm and 7.30 pm...

Also he says that in his peace offer to the allied Himmler said in April 1945 that Hitler had suffered from a brain hemorrhage ( and was not conscious ) and would not live longer than 48 hrs...

Quite frankly, it would be a miracle if he hadn't suffered a heart attack from all the "Vitamultin" (amphetamine) and other drugs being injected on a daily basis by his Dr. I sincerely believe that Hitler's drug regimen was responsible for many of his terrible decisions as the war progressed, including Operation Barbarossa.

Absolutely. The man was a walking pharmacy and all the medications drove him over the edge and forced him to make many stupid and idiotic decisions. Thank God for that.

He was making decisions under the effects of drugs that weren't allowing him sufficient sleep, etc. In 1945 the man was a wreck. I don't think his body would have held out much longer anyway, had he not taken his life in May of 45. I'm sure he would have had a major heart attack or stroke. That was probably inevitable.
