It is with great sorrow that I report the loss of Captain John Fallon of the 36th Engineer Regiment of WWII. RIP dearest of friends. So many memories to share, but a little to early for me to comprehend your passing.

The funeral is Thursday, April 29, 2021  at 11:00 am at Maris Stella Church - 252 50th St, Avalon, NJ 08202 with visitation from 10 to 11 am.
Interment is at the Cape May County Veteran's Cemetery - 127 Crest Haven Rd, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210.
Luncheon following at the Stone Harbor Yacht Club located at 9001 Sunset Drive Stone Harbor, NJ 08247
It seems I must have missed this. Not sure how. I'm sorry to see John go, since it seems he was one of the last. I remember the lively discussions we had with all of the WWII vets when I first came on the forum in 2007. Now it seems there hasn't been any of them in a long while.

It's a sad thing that seems to mark the end of the WWII generation. I met John and many of the others at the 2011 Engineers reunion. I was lucky to have had that.
