The Hidden Legacy of World War II: A Daughter's Journey of Discovery

By Carol Schultz Vento

This book was written by my friend (and proud daughter), Carol. You can find her book on Amazon.com.

She recently did a radio interview. Give it a listen.

Go Carol; your father would be (is) proud.

What is it about these proud daughters that makes them such good and diligent historians and researchers ? I suppose it comes down to the often special relationship between a father and daughter. (I talk from personal experience!) That is rarely as close in the father/son relationship which means the experiences are not passed down. That was the case in my research into my fathers war service. Even so I will still sign myself .............

Proud son,

Colin.

It is really inspiring. I get many emails with the ladies signing their names as

Proud Daughter of....

And I do get some proud sons now too. It's catching on. YEAH!
