The National Geographic Channel has been running and excellent documentary on the Hunley and why they believe that it sank. They explore several options about both the sinking and the mystery of why this crew was found at their stations, as opposed to the crews of the two prior sinkings where the bodies were found around the exit.

Check your local listings or keep an eye out for it when it makes it to Hulu or Netflix.

Submarines have always fascinated me. The fact that they were able to design and successfully employ this thing (to the detriment of 3 crews) during the Civil War is simply amazing to me.
