Wow this is fantastic, I am speechless!

I'm excited like a child with his new toy!

Discovering these things from the memories of those who have actually experienced them, is priceless, it has a higher historical value than anything else!

I swear, I'm speechless

Well Enrico, looks like you have found FORUM HEAVEN! B)

Here's another reply...

It is not correct, I would have said, "the heaven between the heavens" of the forums!-o-

Here in Italy in the forum, the user are competing to see who is better, who knows more and who has memorized the manuals and guidelines on everything that is inherent the U.S. Army during WWII!

Too bad that then they lose sight of that in real life was not always possibile to follow the rules, directives especially as regards the uniform! (or I'm wrong?)

Here I found the truth! :pdt34:

Ps.: Marion I've sent you a PM, I'm not shure that you have read it..

Enrico:

Many of us here would probably agree with your assessment of many of the WWII forums. I think you are absolutely correct about the COMPETITION and the attitudes. To be honest, it's one of the main reasons I rarely frequent other WWII forums. There's a few good ones out there, not knocking them, but there's also a few I DO NOT visit anymore. People were "stuck-up", sometimes rude, and made me feel alienated and not welcome.

I am glad you like our forum and hope you will become a frequent visitor and contributor.

We have a motto here and that is, "Everyone is family". We are not here to show off or determine who knows more or to feed our own egos.

I love "my WWII family", and hope it shows.

Again, a very warm welcome.

Another response from a vet:
