REMEMBERING WITH HUMILITY AND GRATITUDE ALL THOSE SERVICE MEN AND WOMEN WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES IN EVERY CONFLICT THROUGHOUT THE WORLD

At the going down of the sun and in the morning we will remember them.

On this website we especially remember the members of the US Corps of Engineers who were killed during WWII.

Colin. :smwave:

Lest we forget

They shall not grow old. As we that are left grow old .

Age shall not weary them. Nor the yeras condemn .

At the going down of the sun and in the morning we will remember them .

From the Col in Iraq: :14_2_107:

Please forward to our Vets:

Right now ... across Iraq and Afghanistan ... a few thousand Soldiers

proudly wear the 36th "Rugged Seahorse" patch as they go about the execution

of their assigned missions on behalf of the people of America. Another few

thousand are back in America proudly wearing the 36th patch as they train

and prepare for the next time they are asked to deploy.

Rest assured that these Soldiers are aware of the history of 36th and the

great Soldiers that went before us. We stand on your shoulders and serve in

your honor as we continue to expand the great history that you started.

Thank you for your service to our nation ... and for continuing to serve as

role models for our generation.

Happy Veteran's Day!!!

Very Respectfully,

Colonel Kent D. Savre

Commander 36th Engineer Brigade

Balad, Iraq APO AE 09391

Stay Rugged!

FROM VALLEY FORGE TO AFGHANISTAN, AND EVERY POST BETWEEN...GOD BLESS EACH ONE OF YOU FOR ALL THAT YOU HAVE DONE AND STILL DO.

Looks like we have two different posts on the forum, in two separate sections, so I am taking the liberty of merging the two. Okay, successfully merged. Now we're all in one place.

We,"COLOR GUARD," were busy with the presentation of the COLORS at three locations one of them was at the General Motors assembly plant. They gave us a tour of the plant and THEN THEY STOPPED ALL CONVEYER BELTS and had a small program started when we,Color Guard, presented the Colors. Was a very intresting moment. I was a tired but Happy Dude by 9pm. I am the FLAG Bearer and I raise the flag when the National Anthem is sung, I feel like I am ten feet tall.
