JUST A SHORT NOTE. I HAVE BEEN INVITED TO GO SEE THE K.C. ROYALS PLAY
THE CHGO.WHITE SOX TODAY GAME WILL TELEVISED ON LOCAL CHANNEL 4 FOX
IT WILL BE VETERANS' RECOGNITION DAY...AND IT'S GOING TO BE A HOT ONE.
MAYBE SOMEOF YOU MIGHT SEE IT. ROQUE (Rocky)
Just got back from the game. Left after the 5th inning score Kc 8 Chgo. 3
temp. on the field 102 deg. The recognition was for the ones that were inducted
inn the various Services. BUT IT WAS NICE TO BE RECOGNIZED PERSONALY.
No pics. were taken by anyone. Too damn hot. Rocky

I was wondering about the heat. My family likes to go to the local minor league games (Kinston Indians) but it's just too darn hot! Today it was 100+ heat index in NC. Not fun!

Sure did Capt.--Them gals would see me with that t-shirt on, they said
look! a WW 11 vet!! Won't tell you what I touched,,hmm But you
are so right about the heat. Gave the water hell.
