Was sent a special request from historian and tour guide, Will Cavanagh. I am printing his first and second emails to me:

The following website talks about the opening of a new museum at the Baugnez crossroads in eastern Belgium. A survivor of the massacre will be present as well as other American veterans who were also captured by Kampfgruppe Peiper.

I was surfing the net and came across your website. Thank you ever so much for providing the link to Danny's site. He has been working on a book for the past 12 years that tells the story of Jochen Peiper.

Both he and I are acting as guides for the opening of this museum.

We both assisted the late Charles B. Macdonald in his research for the book "A Time For Trumpets". We are trying to get the maximum publicity for this event so that the United States is well represented at the opening ceremony this coming December. The museum is a tribute to the memory of the young American soldiers who were the victims of this war crime. The tour company organising the trip is:

My late mother was from Verviers, Belgium and worked as an interpreter for 1st U.S. Army. attached is a photo of her and the people she worked with. She is circled in red.

Regards and thanks.

Will and I wanted to add, that they are really hoping for strong American representation for this event.
