You're right, Jim. The following book (http://www.amazon.com/Illustrated-History-Gestapo-Rupert-Butler/dp/0879388013) has a whole chapter devoted to Lidice. You need no more evidence of matter-of-factly perpetrated evil then to check out the Wannsee conference minutes if you haven't (http://www.ghwk.de/engl/kopfengl.htm). In 90 minutes, 15 men decided the fate of millions like most people plan dinners for the week. One of the more famous attendees (aside from Heydrich) was Adolf Eichman.

Hello Captain O.

I have read those minutes several times and can never get over the way the Nazis went about the business of mass murder in much the same manner as a large corporation puts together their "Mission Statement." A few years ago there was a very well made TV movie about Wannsee, starring Stanley Tucci as Adolph Eichmann. It was the name of Eichmann that first introduced me to the Holocaust as a boy, and there was news of his capture. Reinhard Heydrich looks to me like the epitome of evil. He had "the look" that you only see in the eyes of people like Charles Manson. Tell me there's no Satan...
