Added info:Pattons plan to liberate Hamelburg POW camp is in a book The Hamelburg raid. TF Baum? To get Pattons son inlaw out of the camp. more good reading.

 

The Ritchie Boys trained at Camp Ritchie Md. in 43-44. Just made a documentary movie about their work in WW2 See your local library about the CD movie on loaner.

 

The thunderbirds are the 45th ID 5th and 7th Army. NOte: Being and Indian OKie National Guard Division their patch before WW2 was an indian swatika! Changed toa T-bird before WW2 The old patch is collectible!
